Charming vintage plastic tropical fruit on front of basket; orange velvet trim looks retro against the dark wooden purse

Solid wood hinged lid with interior mirror, and wooden swing handle

Quilted fabric lining on interior

Round faint maker's ink stamp on bottom- unable to decipher

Use as a box purse, or as a lunch box or storage basket

Circa 1970s

Measures approximately 10-1/2" wide by 5-3/4" deep by 6-1/2" tall

Condition:

Very good vintage condition with wear from use. Light surface wear throughout on woven wood; a few minor breaks or cracks in oak splints. Top lid has numerous small nail or tack holes, possibly more plastic fruit? Orange velvet trim has wear and light soiling. Interior quilted lining lightly soiled, but intact; brown velvet trim at top of lining has come off but is included, glue remnants remain. Lid hinges are a bit loose.
