Vintage oriental carved bovine horn dragon ship dates to the Vietnam War Era, and was probably a souvenir brought back by returning soldiers.

Dragon ship/junk boat made of horn, with 3 masts and 6 sails

Dragon head at tip of horn and covered area at tail end

Carved decoration in hull of ship

Curved piece of horn serves as a fixed display base

Beautiful commercial craft carved horn souvenir from Asia

Horn is bovine species, either ox or water buffalo

Circa 1960s, Vietnam War Era

Dragon ship measures approx. 20" wide x 12" high x 2.5" wide

Weighs approx. 1 lb. 14 ozs.

Light wear throughout, all pieces intact, including ship masts, string, and sails. Neat piece of commercial asian craftmanship from the Vietnam War Era, makes a great conversation piece.
