It is thought to be an original Walter Von Nessen lamp by way of the patent numbers stamped on the back of the brass arm joint and his signature swing-arm design. - Whole lamp, closed in, measures 18" wide x 13" deep x 18" high
- Clamp opening measures 2" high
- Weighs 9 lbs.
- Vintage brass clamp-on swing arm lamp in very good physical condition, with wear, tear, and aged patina. There are no dents or dings in the shade, but aged, mottled patina, with light scuffs and scratches. The white enamel underside of shade is brown-stained and dirty. The lamp does not work when plugged in and turned on--it may need a fuse (appears to be one fuse missing), or maybe ballast repair, or perhaps even new bulbs. On/Off switch and electrical cord both seem to be in good condition. The heavy-duty clamp has surface rust and aged patina, but good--may be missing a screw or two. Overall, an excellent machine age lamp for repair or restoration with minimal effort.
