- Antique wooden piano stool in good condition overall, but seat is split into 3 pieces and needs re-gluing. Solid wood turned and sculpted seat is split clean into 3 parts, the center part still attached to the base; heavy glue residue remains on the parts from previous attempt at re-gluing. The base and legs of the chair are intact and sturdy. The ball and claw feet are all in good condition with full patina of surface rust; glass balls all in good condition with wear, but no large chips or cracks; one claw foot needs reattaching, others may be loose. The cast iron swivel base is in good condition with full surface rust patina and works well. There is a tiny bit of red and white paint residue along the sides of legs. Original wood finish is dry--needs a good polish. Beautiful piece for repair and restoration.
