These beautiful Hubbell lights were salvaged from an old farm house slated for demolition along with many other vintage and antique items.
- Antique Hubbell Chain Pendant Light Lot 7 - 4-Complete 3-Parts Restoration 1920s
- Lot of seven antique Hubbell chain pendant lights salvaged from an old farmhouse
- Lot contains 3 chain lights with paddle switches and glass shades; 1 chain light with chain pull socket and glass shade with damage on edge; 1 chain light with paddle switch and no shade; 1 chain light, no switch on socket, and no shade; and 1 chain with canopy on one and and the socket hanging screw on the other end--missing light and fitter ring
- Chains vary from 8" long to 17" long
- Canopies measure 5" diameter x 4" high from bottom of ring up
- Fitters measure approx 2.5" diameter
- Sockets are stamped: HUBBELL, PAT'D, JULY 23-03 FEB 23-04
- Original cloth wire is in poor condition, stiff and brittle
- Antique Hubbell chain pendant light lot contains 4 complete chain lights with glass shades, one shade has chunks out of edge, and 2 chain lights without shades, and 1 chain with canopy and socket screw only, no shade, socket or fitter ring. Of the four glass shades, three are in very good condition with no damage, with the fourth one having broken pieces missing on the edge in two places--see pics. All metal finishes are worn with surface pitting and rust, some are painted white. All chains are rusty. There are one or two missing fitter screws. All original wiring is in poor condition and rotting--will need replacement. The sockets appear to be in good shape with wear; all switches appear to work, though dull or soft clicks.
